Operations Coordinator

WE ARE HIRING and looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our growing team TODAY. This role is ideal for an experienced transportation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing key customer accounts, and takes ownership of the full freight process from order entry through to final delivery and billing readiness. Minimum 2 years of trucking transportation industry experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the complete transportation process for key customer accounts. This includes coordinating freight movements, entering orders into TruckMate, dispatching drivers, monitoring shipments, communicating directly with customers and drivers, and ensuring all required documentation is completed for billing.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and successful delivery execution across Canada and the United States.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate, you will be self-motivated, results-driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of transportation industry experience required
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and US shipping regulations and transportation practices
• Experience with flat deck, specialized freight, and LTL operations is required
• Oil & Gas industry experience, including tubular pipe (OCTG) movements, is considered a strong asset
• Experience handling large customer accounts and coordinating complex freight movements
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage changing priorities
• High attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues early and implement solutions
• Experience using TruckMate dispatch system is considered an asset
• Must be self-motivated, results-driven, adaptable, and team-oriente
