Logistic Coordinator

WE ARE HIRING and looking for a Logistic Coordinator to join our growing team TODAY. Must have minimum 2 year's experience in the trucking transport industry. 

Job Responsibilities:

As the Logistic Coordinator you are responsible from the beginning of the process to the end. Entering the orders into our dispatch system Truckmate and building a manifest, dispatching the driver, following up until the POD is in the system and the order is ready for billing. To do this you are in constant communication with drivers as well as our customers. You will be responsible for dispatching deliveries, and preplanning freight for return trips.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate, you will be self-motivated, results-driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience in the transportation field with 2 years minimum experience required
• Experience and knowledge of Canadian and US shipping regulations and practices
• Deck experience along with LTL shipping knowledge is considered is required
• Oil & Gas industry experience, including tubular pipe (OCTG) movements is required
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self-motivated, result driven and a team player
• Successful building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities
• High level of detail in performing tasks
• Proactive, able to identify early on any potential issues, and to implement solutions
• Experience in Dispatch Systems Truckmate is considered an asset
