TF Truckload & Logistics is growing and we are currently looking to recruit a fulltime Pipe Desk Coordinator for their Edmonton location TODAY!!

The Pipe Desk / Field Coordinator plays a vital role in coordinating and managing the materials required for onshore well operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the inventory of pipe materials, including casing, tubing, pup joints, and OCTG materials, ensuring their timely delivery and maintaining clear communication with Supply Chain Management (SCM) Procurement, as well as site supervisors. The Pipe Desk Coordinator ensures smooth processes for material receiving, issuing, and compliance with quality standards, with a specific focus on drilling and completions materials, components, and overall business requirements related to the efficient management of pipe materials.

Scope:

  • Pipe Desk OCTG and Accessories material management.
  • Manage Material from Requisition, Material Transfers, Monthly Reconciliations,  Dead Stock Reviews, Surplus Identification, Blocked Invoice Resolution, Cost Saving Opportunities and Ensuring Storage Contracts are up to date.
  • Wellhead Refurbishment for D&C and Ops are managed according to Process. 
  • Maintaining non-Inventory Accuracy during goods movements.
  • Ensuring the timely recording of consumption and transfer of material requirements based on business priorities.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and participating in Physical Inventory Counts (some travel to site required) 
  • Document Control ensuring packing slips, MSDS, MTR and QM/QI/NCR/OS&D are completed
  • Complies and Assist with all internal and external audits including Procurement (SOX) and financial audits and ensures that physical stock balances are reconciled, and discrepancies resolved, in a timely and efficient manner.

What you bring:

  • Extensive OCTG and Pipe Desk Experience; Accessories Materials,  Wellhead, Warehousing and extensive Reconciliation experience
  • SAP knowledge of MM (Materials Management)
  • Oil & Gas experience is desirable
  • Senior level, typically 5+ years of experience.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Inventory Management, Scheduling, policy, business process and SAP
  • Familiar with SAP, Microsoft etc
  • High level of attention to detail, communications skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Good team member skills.
  • Understands advanced aspects of discipline and is viewed as an expert in a given field.
  • Applies broad range of competencies to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Influences others to achieve objectives.
  • Often provides specialized/technical/functional guidance to others within department and/or business asset.
