We are HIRING and looking for a Plant Operator to join our team in Coalhurst, AB. This role starts April and runs to November. Monday to Friday schedule with a start time of 9:00 am and end time of 5:30 pm. Sounds like a fit? APPLY TODAY....
Reporting to the Coalhurst Terminal Manager, the Transload Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently unloading railcars, loading trucks, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the terminal.
This role is hands-on, requires working outdoors, and plays a key role in maintaining product flow and customer service levels.

Scope of Work:
- Unload railcars into silos
- Load trucks from silo storage
- Operate track mobile to spot railcars
- Monitor and track cement inventory levels
- Receive customer orders and coordinate with Calgary dispatch
- Operate augers for loading/unloading railcars and silos
- Perform basic maintenance on augers and dust collection systems
- Conduct track inspections and ensure safe rail operations
What you Bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in plant or terminal operations
- Experience with bulk material handling (cement preferred)
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and enforcement
- Experience with computerized loading systems and Microsoft tools
- Ability to operate equipment (railcar systems, silos, augers, track mobile)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
