Class 1 Owner Operator - Dedicated Lane

Edge Transportation specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport. 
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping. 
We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process. 

Edge Transport is growing and currently looking to recruit class 1 Owner Operators. Looking to gain experience with flat decks and Super Bs? We will train you if you have a minimum 2 years highway experience! You can be located in North Battleford, Meadow Lake or the Saskatoon area. The shift will consist of 5 days on and 2 days off and you get to pick when you start your 5 days on! If you live on the Meadown Lake to North battleford corridor you might be able to sleep at home every night with a dedicated lane so you know where your driving everyday! What You Bring:

• A positive CAN-DO attitude
• Safety conscious approach to all job duties
• Class 1A Driver’s License – Minimum 2 year highway driving experience is required
• 1 year flat/step deck experience is considered an asset
• Highway tractor required that can pull Super B trailers
• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
• Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening
